As a Senior Research Manager at Questionardo, you will play a key role in leading quantitative research projects for our diverse customers spanning various industries and geographies. We are seeking a highly skilled marketing researcher who embodies the following attributes:
  • A full-stack researcher with a strong commercial mindset, capable of leveraging marketing theory, setting hypotheses and developing complex models that drive business growth.
  • Detail-oriented, without being paralysed by the minutiae. You have a keen eye for detail and can work efficiently without sacrificing quality.
  • A star when it comes to quantitative research. You have extensive experience in using advanced research techniques to analyse and interpret data, and to develop insights that inform effective marketing strategies.

What you’ll be doing

Independently design, conduct, manage and deliver quant research projects

  • Help clients specify research briefs, ensuring a clear and feasible focus 
  • Advise clients and the team on the optimal research design for the problem at hand
  • Design engaging surveys either on your own or in collaboration with clients/researchers
  • Script surveys
  • Run and monitor data collection on behalf of clients
  • Ensure the highest data quality standards on all projects are met
  • Lead client communications about projects

Create compelling analyses and presentations for clients

  • Perform statistical analysis (from basic to more advanced) and produce reports
  • Run custom crosstabs based on client demand
  • Interpret findings
  • Write presentations/summary reports
  • Create compelling narratives from data and tell the story effectively
  • Provide strategic recommendations for effective marketing campaigns

Win work and manage client accounts

  • Handle requests from key clients, including producing quotes and proposals
  • Build and manage long-term relationships with clients

Support our marketing and sales

  • Develop new business through outreach and business development
  • Develop content and research to publish and distribute
  • Write blog posts to raise awareness about Qudo and research breakthroughs

Contribute towards learning culture, product development, and client support

  • Exercise thought leadership
  • Help support our clients using the Qudo platform
  • Contribute ideas for new features and tools for yourself and other users of the platform
  • Help out team learn from you, and learn from our team

About you

We would love to meet someone with:

  • 5+ years as a researcher in the quantitative market research industry serving B2C companies and consumer brand
  • Statistically and mathematically fluent
  • Comfortable scripting and designing surveys/instruments to high standards
  • Proficiency in at least one of the following: Qualtrics, Alchemer, Momentive
  • Proficiency in Q/SPSS
  • Experience of the entire lifecycle for delivering market research projects, particularly segmentation, brand tracking, message, and ad testing.
  • Exceptional academic background (or experience)
  • Knowledge and experience in Segmentation, Conjoint, MaxDiff, Drivers analysis, Perceptual mapping
  • Strong ability to find and leverage relevant scientific publications
  • Experience responding to RFPs and producing winning proposals for clients
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Experience producing statistical analysis data outputs and ensuring exceptional quality standards

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of Python or R with former being a massive advantage
  • Experience managing client accounts
  • Experience in developing new business
  • Experience in winning business through proposal writing and pitching
  • Track record of academic and or popular publications
  • Evidence of public speaking at conferences such as TEDx, ESOMAR, MRS, etc
  • Active Membership at Market Research Society or ESOMAR

Our recruitment process consists of 3 stages: 

  1. Video interview to get to know you, your skills, your interests, etc. It’s the first screening to double-check that what you shared on your CV matches your real experience and skillset. It’s also the best time to explain the role and Qudo’s journey to date (approx 30 minutes)
  2. A second interview based on the presentation of a little exercise we’ll ask  you to prepare in advance. It’s not going to be “free work”, but rather an exercise that will let us understand how you approach your work. In other words: we’re looking for methodology and mindset rather than a finalised asset (approx 1 hour)
  3. A “Meet The Team” final meeting where you will meet a larger group of Qudo’s employees, so that you get an opportunity to ask more about Qudo’s culture, and understand what it’s like to work here (30-45 minutes)
